  • Traditional weekly sessions are 53-55 mins and are $175. For clients utilizing insurance, you will be able to review the cost of sessions through an online billing platform before scheduling a session. Clients are also able to use HSA (Health Savings Account or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards for therapy. Therapy intensives are private pay $250 per 60 minutes.   • Virginia residents: Insurance plans are accepted for traditional weekly sessions (53-55 min sessions). Insurance plans: Aetna, Oscar Health, Oxford, United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Virginia or federal, & CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO. Clients must be located in the state of VA during the session.

    DC residents: Private pay only. Superbills provided upon request for clients with out of network benefits.

  • Yes, in person for therapy intensive sessions (extended sessions). Traditional 53-55 mins sessions are held virtually via Zoom.

    Intensive services are held in person at 1900 Reston Metro Plaza 6th Floor, Reston, VA 20190. Intensive in person sessions are extended sessions that require that level of care due to the complexity of the presenting issue. Book a consult today to discuss your needs.

  • All clients will be sent a link to log into an online portal for telehealth sessions. You may use a smart phone, tablet, or computer for sessions. All clients must be in located in the state of VA or in DC while services are rendered.

  • Traditional 53-55 minute sessions are offered online via telehealth.

  • The Loveland Foundation is a non-profit that offers financial assistance to black women & girls in need of therapy. I accept Loveland Foundation vouchers as a form of payment. Click here to sign up for notifications from the foundation if interested.

  • The length of time for weekly therapy varies depending on the complexity of what the presenting concern(s) are. I have experience in short term solution focused work and also provide longer term therapy to those who need ongoing care. I serve clients for 3 to 6 months or 1yr+ if their presenting issues warrant longer treatment.   • Call member/customer service number on the back of your insurance card and state: I am interested in starting therapy with an out of network provider. Do I have a deductible? If so, what is my deductible? How much will my insurance cover for out of network therapy after my deductible is met?

  • A Good Faith Estimate is a estimated cost of services for services rendered. To learn more click here.

  • A superbill is a monthly receipt for services paid. It can be provided for clients with out of network benefits to submit to their insurance carrier. Clients are welcome to request the practice to use Mentaya for filing out of network claims. This would prevent you from having to manage superbills with insurance directly if you choose. Please note all service fees for traditional sessions are due 15 mins before session begins and the practice would file the out of network claim after each session for you to receive eligible reimbursement directly from insurance.
